Occasionally, the count for the number of times DFP fired our code on your website is higher than the number we display in our Publisher Center reporting. Here are some common reasons why there is a discrepancy:
- -Images are too small to serve an ad on (our minimum size is 250x200). This is often the case if a lot of the traffic comes from mobile devices.
- -Many of the images are organized into a slideshow gallery. Our system parses the slideshow into image impressions but Google counts every image as an additional page view.
- -Images are being filtered out by brand safety filters. To help keep our ads brand-safe, we use a formula that filters out images if they are not brand-safe.
- -JS tags (GumGum's and the analytic tool's tag) may be located in different parts of the page so one may load while the other may not.
